Soul Trafficking

This painting, created for "Konsten att stoppa trafficking", speaks to the resilience of those trapped in the devastating reality of human trafficking. The life-sized figure, painted with textured black paste and sand, seems confined in a small, suffocating space. The red background heightens the tension, symbolising the intensity of suffering and the urgency for change.

The textured figure appears to almost step out of the painting, a powerful reminder of the human spirit’s potential to endure and break through even the darkest circumstances.
