Artist Statement

I am an interdisciplinary artist working with painting, poetry, and sound. My work revolves around transformation, especially, the quiet, internal kind.

I’m drawn to the moments in between: when you pause, notice how far you’ve come, and still feel the pull toward something not yet formed. The inner world rarely matches the outer one, so my work lives between abstraction and symbolism. Somewhere, where emotion can exist without being fully explained.

Each piece begins with a feeling that has stayed with me. I translate these internal states into layered paintings, poems, and sound. Sometimes the words come first. Sometimes the image does. The mediums speak to each other, allowing complexity to unfold rather than be reduced.

I don’t create answers. I create spaces, where something can be witnessed, recognized, and slowly transformed.
